These pieces all combine a number of techniques.

I make most of the backgrounds with monotypes and multiple plate prints using oil paint and litho inks. The cows themselves are cut out of old prints, silkscreens and drawings. Sometimes I add to the piece with graphite and colored pencil or oil pastels. Background and cows are then collaged.

Some of the cows are drawings only, using graphite, colored pencil, oil pastels and archival felt tip ink.
